Merlijn

After designing the birth announcement card for my beautiful niece Mare, my sister and brother-in-law had a beautiful boy named Merlijn.

They wanted his card to contain the same elements as the card for Mare, so we started with one of the cutest photoshoots I’ll ever get to do. I used the same hand-carved sun stamp, but added watercolor to change the color and texture. The poem on the back was expanded with a line to include his big sister, and decorated with colorful autumn leaves reflecting the season he arrived in.

The card was printed by Peter Print on 300gsm Biotop paper (FSC-certified).
