The Lonely Sailor

Loving music as much as I do, it was a no-brainer when my friend and wonderful singer Moji introduced me to pianist and composer James Fernando to design the artwork for his debut album, “The Lonely Sailor”. The creative process incorporates traditional and digital illustration and collage techniques, and was entirely inspired by the journey that the album takes its listener on:

“It tells the story of someone who journeys across the sea, looking for a better life. As he goes on his journey, the whole soundscape around him changes. At the end of the journey, did he make it to this place where things are truly better, or is the grass always greener on the other side?”
