Amber

This little fox celebrates the birth announcement of my best friend’s beautiful daughter, Amber. In a nutshell: overjoyed would be an understatement of my pleasure to create this card for her.

I painted the fox and leaves using watercolors and ecoline. For the name on the back, we decided on a digital version of my handwriting. A fun side-effect of hand-painting the fox was that the original art doubled as a gift to Amber’s parents.

The Amsterdam-based company We Love Recycled printed the cards. We chose 300gsm Freelife Kendo White paper (made of 40% post-consumer paper fiber, 55% FSC® wood fiber, and 5% hemp). This paper had the perfect texture and grain to complement the watercolors.
